Yea, even though I said The Shield, Breaking Bad is another top show.

Also, if you want something a little more humor oriented, but with action: watch Chuck.

I just started on Justified and think it's great. Burned through first 2 discs in a couple days.

Breaking Bad - Best show on TV (1st season is only ~8 episodes)
Deadwood - Don't miss this one...great show
Boardwalk Empire - only 1 season in but awesome
Sopranos - nuff said
The Walking Dead - 1 season also but very good.

Modern Family - best comedy out there now.

I didn't like it. The first season was ok, the second was just a mess. I didn't make it more than half way through the second.

I think it's more similar to Weeds than Dexter...

Eh I haven't seen much of BB but I got a more serious vibe from it, whereas Weeds is pretty much a softcore porn directed by M. Night Shamalamadingdong if he was in 10th grade and thought weed was "killer, brah!".

The general plot is similar IMHO. Weeds is light hearted and more of a comedy, but BB is a more serious spin of the general plot.
