Are you using the G1100 router or your own router?Just got it installed today. Damn it's fast, but I'm a bit miffed because my S7 edge won't do 200mbps.
heh, you should see some of the speeds a macbook pro gets with the UniFi AC pro or AC HD or similar access points.Woah I had no idea wifi could hit speeds like that.

800-900mbps+ from 10-15 feet.
Yeah, since my fastest client is my phone and it's radio would top out right around 400-500mbps anyway, I don't really feel like investing in good wireless access points when almost everything I have besides my phone is wired. That's pretty crazy. I've seen wifi routers that advertise speeds like that but I always figured it was marketing BS. I guess my Unifi N APs are considered old by today's standards heh. Sad part is I've only deployed one of them and have 2 extras. They came in a pack of 3 and I had thought it would be cool to do a multi AP setup but the range is so good I didn't have to.
I seem to get around 35mbps or so on my wifi network. Fast enough for me mind you as most of my stuff is wired.
I'm using the G1100, as the installer said that I needed it for vod. I need to visit dsl reports and see how to put the G1100 in bridge mode. I should be able to use my Asus router thenAre you using the G1100 router or your own router?
This is my Note5 (1 generation behind the S7) using the G1100 router from 10-12 feet and through some wood flooring.
Pretty sure you can also use a MoCA adapter to provide coax to the STB for VOD using any router you want. DSLreports FiOS subforum should have good info.I'm using the G1100, as the installer said that I needed it for vod. I need to visit dsl reports and see how to put the G1100 in bridge mode. Looking good, it's nice not having to worry about downloads or uploads anymore. At least for the vast majority of things.First test after install today.
