There are shitty black people but there are good black people trying to do something with their lives.
If that was really the point then why does the "black" part matter?

Actually, no. Talking about crime in the black community is taboo. It doesn't matter what race you are, you'll recieve backlash. The entire neighborhood is black. I was reading accounts that say you hear gunfire every night. She's been reporting for over 10 years and knows that neighborhood. So saying it's a black youth is like calling rice white.
But whatever, if she was any other color than white people would read what she said and agree that things need to change in that neighborhood. Rather than calling her racists.
This is the really racist part to me:
Lots of code words in that.
Later that night, away from the crowded restaurant and my jealous husband, I saw him again. I knew that I shouldn't, that it was wrong, but I just couldn't help myself. I felt my knees weaken as he moved toward me, dish towel casually draped across the drawstring of his apron, like he didn't even care. I imagined his hips pumping and sweat beading on his shoulders as he washed my floor...

its not technically but it is because everyone knows shes calling out blacks
statistically its pretty even on which race commits crimes, there are a handful of them where 1 specific race dominates but for violent crimes whites commit more of them then any other race

About 14.3% of Americans or 45,672,250 people are Black only or Black in combination with another race as of 2014 estimates

Since the killers haven't been identified, why was it ok to racially profile them as black?
Better yet, why did she bring up black people at all? How does this case involve black people in any way?
Siblings Jerry Michael Shelton, 35, Brittany Powell, 27, and Chanetta Powell, 25, along with two cousins, Tina Shelton, 37, and Shada Mahone, 26, were killed in the ambush shooting, police said. Chanetta Powell was nearly eight months pregnant.
The proportions aren't even close given the general population.

White American 223,553,265 72.4 %
Black American 38,929,319 12.6 %
Given that whites constitute 72% of the US population and blacks 12.6%, why are they committing roughly the same number of crimes? It's not even close in terms of frequency.
You should add in the poverty level as well for a more balanced picture.
I absolutely agree, but to pretend that the black community doesn't have a crime problem is absurd. She posted it to her employers page which is not a good idea and I have no problem with her being let go for that, but to cry racism for pointing out what she did is just putting ones head in the sand trying to pretend a real problem doesn't exist.
Precisely. Pointing out that the poor black community has a crime problem is not racist, it's the truth.
