OP sorry about the bad luck. This will probably turn out to be a blessing in disguise. You sound like you are devoted to your job and employers look for that quality which they will recogize when they interview you.

Dont sell yourself short, look outside of retail for a better job with real benefits and advancement opportunities.

Well, at least you learned young that Corporation don't give a crap about you. I learned my lesson with my first real job, I got my layoff notice after over 2 months on the job. Which wasn't bad, because they paid me 6 month servance and I collected 6 months unemployment. But a lot of people were there for 20 years and some had to go work at K Mart to support their family.

That's what you get for thinking your workplace is family. In at 9 and out at 6 is my attitude. Don't be one of the poor saps that work 12 hours a day and get pissed when they get fired.

or just freelance your photoshop skills. think of something to do with it.

Does argument = all out fight or just a disagreement? Did the manager have it out for you or just lose his temper? Contact HR if you feel you were unjustly fired and ask them to investigate.

I just feel like ****** now. sorry if im wasting everybody's time but damn right before christmas, this sucks

sorry to hear that. i know a few people who also went above and beyond for their job, and got shafted w/a change of mgmt. but they dont regret it
