I run Firefox on both my work and home PCs. Upgraded at home with no problem. But when I try at work, I can get confirmation that the update exists, but when I tell Firefox to update I get an error message. When I go to mozilla.org in either IE or Firefox and click on the "Download" link, I get an error message. I plopped the install .exe on my ftp server ar home, but my computer here at work refuses to receive the file through the ftp (all other files on the server come over with no problem). Navigated to ftp.mozilla.org directly through IE, found the folder with the updates. Again, I cannot move any file (even the foreign language editions) with "Firefox" or "1.0.4" in the name of the file to my work PC. Any other file on the ftp server is copied with no problem.
So have I picked up some kind of anit-Firefox virus or worm? I don't have any software installation restrictions on my work computer. I'm able to install Opera with no problem. So what's up with the Firefox update?
