Firefox 1.0 is SLOOOOOW on secure webpages. Anyone else is having the same problem?

So I decided to give FF 1.0 a whirl but now am having problems with it runnig secure webpages, it becomes painfully slow and sometimes stops responding alltogehter. Anyone know a work-around?

I was printing a shipping label at USPS and it just kept freezing on me at the final scree. Also when loging in to my bank's website.

I've had the same problem since installing it. I tried to place an order at "Frozen CPU.com" and it kept timing out. Not the only site I've ran into problems with, good thing IE is there for the important stuff...:roll:

Both my bank's sites work fine...those are the only 2 secured sites I've tried w/ it though.

Amex card site
Citibank site
Bank site (Tompkins Trust)
Paypal
Secure server at home...
All on FF 1.0PR
No issues
