so far no problems with it, have not noticed any major issues and all extensions i use are working

Maybe nothing. They may just not want to support it anymore. SP2 is out of date, and unsupported by MS. If Mozilla continues support they'll have to field questions they shouldn't have to. It's more crap to think about, and unnecessary. If you have to use XP, you should at least be on the most recent edition.

edit: just updated from firefox itself, so far so good. It is also appearing on the website.

? it was a seamless update for me. I don't even notice a single difference actually.
