Firefox 20.0.1 Popups

When Firefox 20.0.1 installed itself, it demolished all my settings.
But that's not the biggest problem.

Now, even though I have set Firefox to block popup windows, I am getting MANY popups.

I am also getting lots of words underlined by SpeedySnap.org, AllTheServices.com, and probably others.

Why?

What to do?

Did you download it from Mozilla's site? If so, I'd guess you have other malware on your machine. If you didn't get Firefox from Mozilla, delete everything, and try again. Otherwise, try scanning with Malwarebytes and see what it says.

Firefox was an automatic update.

I downloaded and ran a full scan with Malwarebites.
The problem persists.

Many of the popups are from oxodomo.com
Others are from kaytri.com
Perhaps still others, presumably all related.

I suggest NOBODY should click on these links -- you may acquire my problem.

The same problem exists on the Chrome browser, but not on Internet Explorer.

Popup urls removed to prevent any clickage.

In the past day or so, I have had no more popups.
Happy because the popups were numerous and VERY annoying

I did not rerun Malwarebytes, or try anything else. Since I did nothing else to fix it, I presume that Norton 360, my antivirus, solved it.

Also Check your installed programs list. Look for suspects.

malwarebytes has a free rootkit scanner available for downloading.

there are others out there to like TDSSkiller, etc...
