glad to see they are enabling the newest TLS.

No, that will be Firefox 28. On Linux it seems we'll get the new UI in Firefox 29.Is this the version that completely changes the GUI?
I stopped using FF because it became so bad.
A pencil and a piece of paper, probably.Which browser do you prefer?

Anyway...
Because Mozilla keeps dropping features and changing stuff I absolutely need, I have my auto-update turned off. As such, I haven't had time to update to this version because first I need to test it and see if it works with all my extensions and doesn't break my productivity. I just updated to version 26 from version 22, a few weeks ago, so it's probably gonna take a while for me to bother testing version 27... By that time the new Australis interface is probably gonna be out already and I'll end up having to upgrade to an outdated version instead... Like 28 or something.

They do not know about "if it works, don't mess with it"
Heh, so you switched from firefox, too... Firefox, Brilliant!that's why I stopped using FF and switched to Pale Moon! the best browser i've ever used
They'll take out the addons bar, and the customization options for the back/forward and stop/reload buttons, and they'll take out custom toolbars (if you need them - I don't) and there are discussions to remove tab groups (because few people use them) and the search bar...Just curious, which ones are you talking about? So far for me they haven't taken out anything that I could not live without.
Word. The first issue was when the idiots at Mozilla decided to redo the Download Manager, which was working just fine.
I have no problem changing my needs or preferences. If they come naturally. I remember it took a hell of a lot of time for me to upgrade to 4.0 from 3.6, a few years back, all because of extensions I used and didn't want to lose. 4.0 was, after all, a very lackluster release. But after a few months I decided to search the official addons library for something to fix all my needs, and though I didn't bring all I had to 4.0, I didn't loose any functionality and my workflow didn't get messier. That it what i sometimes do until i know i can live with it ok.

However, that is somewhat fixable by adding a couple of extensions:
Downloads Window Add-on for Firefox 26+ ... I am using this
https://addons.mozilla.org/de/firefox/addon/downloads-window/
Download Status Bar Add-on for Firefox 26+ .. I am using this
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/download-status-bar/
Download Manager Tweak - For Firefox 26+ .. I need to try this one at it may negate the need for the other 2 items

I was gonna lock my version before Australis hit, but said "fsck it", there's no point in fighting the system. With the ClassicThemeRestorer, it's useable, but my Forecastfox is AWOL, and it doesn't honor my GTK+ theming. I might drop Forecastfox. It was the only proprietary addon I used, but I really liked it. Anyway, this is Iceweasel 29.0a2...
lxskllr .. can you try this theme ? Firefox 3 theme for Firefox 4+ Reloaded!
With the newest build you have ? I and others would like to know if this will work
with the Australis that will soon come out. The link says it is not for Firefox 27, but I have FF27 and this theme and they are doing just fine together.

Not quite sure what you meant by that last statement, but your browser has a lot more buttons than I ever had.
