I sure hope they decide to offer a way to keep the previous design (but likely not).
Many people are using the Classic Theme Restorer, but in reading reviews, it's not the perfect solution.

I was reading all the comments here and many people say since it's now like Chrome, they're going to use Chrome. After trying Chrome a few months ago, there were several things I didn't like, so FF is a lot better IMO. So the people saying they're going to just use Chrome doesn't make much sense, other than just for sake of boycotting.
yeah, threating to use chrome just because they changed to be (look) more like chrome is incredibly stupid as that's not sending a clear message
if you like the old UIs, go with something like Pale Moon, which even comes with the even older tabs on bottom layout by default, and still supports customization for tabs on top, etc
