Firefox 3.6.6 and Google

Is anyone else experiencing issues using firefox 3.6.6 with google? The first search I do is fine, but any subsequent searches I do will update the URL in the address bar, but it won't actually submit the address. I have to hit the refresh button to get the new search results to display.

I tried running FF in safe mode, and have verified that the issue exists on both of my Windows 7 laptops, as well as my XP desktop PC. I found 1 post about it on an Italian Mozilla support forum, but it doesn't sound like many other people have this issue. I'm not sure why all of my computers have this issue after updating.

Oh, and it works fine on IE, so it's not anything on my firewall blocking it.

Yes, it has bug. I updated my firefox 2 days ago and it was doing same. It gives subsequent results only after doing refresh. Firstly I thought its my windows problems as I had recent updates installed but later came to know that its not from our side.

Ugh, well I guess it's cool it's not just me with this issue. Hope a fix comes soon, or I'll need to get used to hitting the refresh after each search.

I noticed the same thing, using XP here. If I log into my gmail account then go to google, it works fine. Idk if there is anything behind that or if it's just a weird coincidence.

I haven't noticed it, but I use the Firefox Google search page instead of the new, annoying Google.com:

If you are talking about the new Google options sidebar, it is annoying. I added this add-on and it works great (and I've already tested it to see if it's the cause of the search not working correctly after upgrading to 3.6.6, it's not the problem).

I just updated from 3.6.3 to 3.6.6 and every time I open up a new FF window, it lags and freezes up for a second before continuing. Anyone else experiencing this?

Works fine for me, with different search results appearing each time. FWIW, I have "keyword.url" customized to this: http://www.google.com/search?ie=UTF-8&oe=utf-8&q=

I'm experiencing issues also between these two. I might also be experiencing a problem with Google's street view, but I am not entirely sure if it is 3.6.6 or if its a problem with NoScript.

Load Tabs Progressively 0.9.9

It was working fine until I updated the addon after I updated FF to 3.6.6. When I went back 3.6.3, it was still doing it so I disabled all addons and enabled each one by one.

For some reason, the issue fixed itself. I haven't updated anything (have windows and FF/addon updates turned off), but it is working fine on all of my pc's now. Maybe something changed on google's end. Weird.
