Is there any way to move the Back/Forward/Refresh/Stop/Home/Address bar up alongside the File/Edit/View/Etc... bar? This can be done with a simple drag in IE. I would think it can be done with Firefox as well but I haven't figured out how. Even tried different themes and so far nothing. Any suggestions? Thanks!

If what I want to do is possible I couldn't figure out how to do it. All I want to do is move the "address bar" up next to the File/Edit bar so I get more vertical space.

Right click on the toolbar area and select customize. A big box will pop up with more buttons. Once that happens, you can drag the menu bar and buttons to the top. Then disable the navigation and bookmarks toolbars. I do that too.

Everything's on one bar at the top; nice & neat

Awesome! I was in the same boat as Robor, but when the answer wasn't obvious I just didn't worry about it. Thanks for the tip!

Kewl.
I haven't even bothered with an ad blocker.
I'm honestly very satisfied with the built in one.

Good post, and good replies, thanks. I've slimmed Firefox down by one line

Funny, Firefox is blocking pop-ups for me.
Umm, yeah.. that's not what psiu was getting at.

The built-in popup blocker blocks... popups. :Q

Adblock blocks embedded advertisements (images, flash, etc.).

AFAICT anyway. I haven't tried Adblock yet.
