Quantum just updated to b8 today. I ditched lastpass right after I moved to quantum and adopted bitwarden.

I did see some weird stuff today while surfing the web when quantum wouldn't do anything when I clicked the links on the page but for the life of me I can't remember where I was at.

Firefox 56.0.1 with a process for each tab.

Really helps on YouTube. Plus if a tab crashes. Also memory usage is higher but once I close a tab I get the memory back so that is a huge advantage!

Quantum updated to b9 last night. I'm noticing weird things like when I tried to print my bank bill pay receipt it created 3 pages when it should've only been a single sheet.

Mine just updated to b10 but I've not done anything with it yet. On b9 if a program crashed while it was open the bookmarks stopped working until I rebooted it.

I had an issue yesterday when I was attempting to buy a battery at Pep Boys online and quantum wouldn't let me continue the transaction. I had to use IE and go back to my cart to complete the purchase so it would seem they have some issues to work out.

I've noticed that quantum is now having issues with displaying YouTube pages properly and can't handle the reply links correctly when viewing a page.

Edit: I had to go to the add-ons manager and set flash player to always activate and it started working correctly.

That is interesting because as far as I know, I thought that youtube automatically switched to HTML5 unless you specified otherwise....

It was weird and I'm on b12 right now. If I run into a problem with a page I'll reload it using IE 11 which usually does fine.

Found any glitches? What's about add-ons? I wish DownThemAll is included in the whitelist.
I noticed that while running b14 that lastpass finally started working again so I'm fairly certain that it became the release candidate I have now. I haven't tried too many other things but I do see this message:
Flash Player Plugin 27.0.0.159 and older (click-to-play) has been blocked for your protection.

This is weird but lastpass will not install on my laptop even though it installed on my desktop running 57.0. The only difference is that my desktop is 64 bit and my laptop is 32 bit.

Consider trying the 32 bit version on your laptop.

Not happy with the changes to bookmarks access. It isn't terrible, I just have to use the sidebar option to access most since I use folders to sort them. But very happy with the speed of the browser.

Since the days are fast ticking away until FF 57 breaks all "legacy" addons, if you don't want to deal with that now, you can switch to the ESR release here https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/organizations/all/

ESR stands for Extended Support Release, and all your "legacy" addons will work for a quite some time.

I have two addons, Ad Block Plus, which recently conformed to the new extensions, and Theme Font and Size Changer which hasn't, yet anyway, and remains designated Legacy in 56.0.2. The alternative I will use to avoid losing the legacy app is to not upgrade, using the option to have FF never check for updates.
I wonder which alternative will be the more satisfactory ?

I have folders across the top in my toolbar just like I do in IE and they work fine. I use right click and select from the drop down menu to create or delete and it works fine for me. I find that its easier to sort through a small folder than to have a ginormous cascading bookmarks menu.

Tried FF57 b16 I think it was in Slacko Linux, because discord did something that broke FF52esr with their browser version (changed to multi-process?). Using FF57 did fix the problem using discord site, though posting messages then hitting Enter didn't send for like a minute or two instead of instantly in FF57. Didn't notice a speed increase or decrease I think, it was still FatTurtleFox I guess like 52 in general on my single-core CPU... and it's getting harder and harder to surf in non-text-only browsers without going over my 1GB RAM and into the HDD swap partition (time to upgrade to 2GB maybe).
