Has anyone else tried the beta?
Not impressed, my poor addons.
Not sure why they didn't do a emulation layer from the older API to the new one.
Right but this thread is about the beta version of quantum or firefox 57. I haven't had a single issue with it yet.my firefox just updated to firefox 56 with windows 10
FF is now my default browser and as long as it performs well it will stay that way. I was having too many problems with IE and it seemed that MS was deliberately forcing people to edge which I absolutely do not like.
I did a clean install back in May and IE has become increasing unreliable for me. If one tab is having issues all tabs join it and the browser becomes unresponsive. Videos on news sites were having issues, especially on CNN and YouTube videos would start acting up after a few plays.Browser world has become bizarro. I also had increasing problems with IE and switched to firefox about 1.5 years ago. Now, for the past 3 months or so firefox is black or blank screening on me regularly
throwing a display driver not responding error and needing a complete reload. not so with IE which for some unknown reason has become reliable again.
Using 57.06B I get some sites that cannot connect to due to HSTS. One main one is google other than that its very fast
FYI - Just tested this with beta 7 and google was working just fine.
