Yeah, I was braking more toward the end because my legs were giving out. Still working on not braking

I keep thinking about recording my rides but then I remember that 90% of each video would be boring to watch. I don't do massive jumps or anything. Even the 10% of flying down hills wouldn't be impressive on video since they don't really show speed or steepness very well. I do waste a lot of time watching the crazy downhillers on youtube though.

Where are you riding and what bike? I

It's a 2011 carbon gt with a talas fork, rp23, xt brakes, crank brother wheels and hubs, noby nics and rocket ron tires, and xs dropper post

That is some nice kit. Got any pics of the actual rig itself?
Mine are in my sig. I rock a Nobby Nic up front as well (used to use it as a rear tire too)

Ill try to get a pic later. I just got the tires last week, so far they are pretty awesome. I got them tubeless, so I've been having to pump air in the rears quite a bit, the fronts not as much

Nice bike. I'm still riding an old ass 03 gary fisher suger 29er and an even older 01 iron horse steel hard tail spare bike. I'd really like to get a new/newer used but can't justify spending the cash when my old one is still working. I tried ghetto tubeless for awhile but ended up just going back to tubes. Are you using Stan's sealant? I'd like to give his setup a try this year.

I actually had my LBS do it because you need a compressor to inflate the tire correctly. $10/tire and they add the sealant. They just said to monitor the tire every day and add air until it fully seals

I like running tubeless. Never have to stop your run for dflats is awesome

Luckily I have a compressor so that wasn't an issue when I went ghetto. The shop might not have done enough shaking and laying them on their sides to seal the tire bead if they are leaking bad. Can't really seal the bead by riding. With my ghetto setup I had to top them off weekly.

Good looking steed. I love the look of CB wheels.
The only thing I still really want to upgrade on my Cannondale. The stock wheels are fairly standard issue.

I really like the looks of the GTs and the I-Drive is suppose to be really good but heavy. They are on my list of possible replacements for my old bike.

This is my first FS bike and it's been working well for me. It's definitely heavier than the other bikes people I ride with have, but I'm not really willing to spend the money yet for weight savings. I just keep telling myself It's just more workout for the climbs.

There is this Santa Cruz Bronson frame that I've been eyeing though...

I'm not huge on paying more for weight savings either unless its something I'm already replacing.

My bike has everything I need and want for a good ride, but without the $3k or more price premium to save like 5 lbs..
