First Build Ever Q6600

I need a new computer for the school year coming up and have decided to try and build my own. It will be used primarily for gaming, some multitasking. I've looked at similar threads and I want to make sure everything is compatible.

I'm buying in the U.S. and my budget is around 1400. I need just about everything except a monitor and dvd burner. I may overclock in the future, but not right now. Here's what I have so far. I was wondering if the corsairs cables were long enough for the Antec case. Prices include shipping.

Looks fine with the GTX looking a tad more expensive than I would expect. Consider shopping around.

I have almost the same build as you and yes the cables are long enough.

This looks like a better deal on the card. Also, why not order the PSU from Newegg? The overall price with shipping is the same on both sites. In addition, this RAM is a better buy IMO. The rest of the system looks great. Good luck and I hope I helped.

I went with the EVGA card because of warranty and possible step-up if a new card comes out this year. I think it's worth it but I could be wrong. Thanks for the input.
