It's those damn EUROPEANS I tell you Renault screwed with Nissan just a bit more that I would have liked them to. :frown: I'd rather get a Sienna for my money.. but my ASTRO owns all those vehicles anyhow

Ummm, Renault is not behind this one. The interior shares it's basic idea with the current Nissan Primera (difference being that the interior of Primera looks OK), and it was done before Renault got involved

If you are comfortable with a traditional minivan interior, be ready for a shocker in the new Quest as soon as you climb into the driver's seat.
The gauges are gone from behind the steering wheel. In their place are a potentially distracting pop-up glove box and a clip to hold a family photo, parking stub or grocery list.
All the gauges and the shift lever have been relocated to what looks like a tall center pillar jutting out of the floor. The jumble of controls, levers and a joystick for the navigation system are difficult to get used to.
I found myself frequently taking my eyes off the road to try to comprehend the confusing setup.
My point is that mothers will benefit the most from simplicity in a minivan when faced with the monumental task of getting kids safely from point A to point B.
I found the new interior unfamiliar, distracting and pointless.
Even worse, materials in the instrument panel and in the full-length overhead console that stretches to the rear look and feel cheap. That's not something you want to see in a workhorse vehicle that you know will get beat up by your family.

A VQ can't solve styling issues. A fuggin' LS6 wouldn't solve the Aztek's styling "issues," not to say that the Quest is as ugly as that thing

There is nothing wrong with that styling. I think it's all Nissan haters grasping for straws. They know Nissan has a superior drivetrain and product, so they bash its' unorthodox interior. Anyways, don't like it, don't buy it.

Well all know that the Sienna is gonna r@pe this thing. It already does on features and price. The damn Quest looks like a hippo with a stupid interior.
And I'm sorry, but sport and minivan don't go together...so the VQ is merely just a "nice addition" to the package as opposed to really setting it apart from the crowd. Minivan's in the class already have 230+ HP and plenty of torque. And the Odyssey and Sienna both go 0-60 in 7.7 seconds or so.
