What the hell happened to the demo where they showed Crysis running on a single core CPU with a single 8800 and they were actually getting decent performance...unless they were lying about the setup.

Was thinking the same thing.

Shens here as well.
A) SLi is not usable in Vista (as has been said)
B) SLi does not work correctly in all games
C) Crytek explicitly stated that PhysX was not being used (because they're using a suped up Havok)
D) Driver maturity. nVidia still does not have decent drivers for Vista (or do they have any at all?), and do you really think that they would work perfectly as a first-run driver? Don't get your panties in your butt crack this early on.

Hmm why the hell do they test 1024x768, 1280x1024 and suddenly go to 2560 skipping 1600 etc? weird to say the least.. anyway thats bullshit.. either that or the 8800 is another nv30 (nv30 was great at dx8 and sucked at dx9)

That image is not in game. Notice the purple fringing in the upper right corner. Now don't tell me that dx10 games will emulate lens specific chromatic aberrations. That's bull.
