First Gaming PC Build: No post beep, display, or bios

I've started building my first, from scratch, gaming pc. I have all the components needed, harddrive, gpu card, etc. and I've researched on each part and they are all compatible as a whole. After putting the pc together and plugging everything in its proper place, I turn on the computer, psu switch too, and everything runs fine, but there is no display input or post beep( yes, there is a system speaker installed). If anyone can help me out to find the solution, it'll be much appreciated.

Build Specs:
Motherboard: ASUS ROG STRIX B250G
CPU: Intel i5-7600k
RAM: Patriot Viper Elite DDR4 4GB 2133 MHz (2 of them)
PSU: Thermaltake TR2 600w
Solid State Drive: Faspeed 250G SATA III
GPU: Geforce GTX 950

It's very hard to troubleshoot when everything's already plugged in. Do a minimal install outside the case with one stick of ram and no hdd. After each successful boot, add another component. If the mb has onboard vidio, don't even install the gpu.

Are all parts brand new ore were some used/ refurbished? A 950 is not that easy to find brand new.

And don't forget the power connection on the video card (if yours is so equipped). Very easy to miss.

All parts were brand new. I tried breadboarding and after just one stick of ram installed, no beeps whatsoever. I even tried with a different, and compatible, ram stick

I think there are error lights on that board. Failing that, check your panel connections. Failing that you're down to the mb or cpu.

I've found nothing about error lights in the manual or from the website. I have checked the panel connections and they are all well engaged.

I think the problem might be that I have shorted the motherboard. The cpu works fine in other computers I have. I don't know this is the case but it seems to be true.

Sounds like a board problem based on what you are stating here.

Is this your first build?

Make sure you have stand offs only where there's holes on the motherboard.

Make sure the PSU has the voltage switch set properly.

Double check the panel wiring connection and power to MB connections.

Reset BIOS by taking out the battery for some seconds and then put it back. It will completely restore your Motherboard settings back to default one after that start your computer and hopefully you will see a BIOS menu.
