First GTA III PC screens

For those looking for a good Gamepad similar to those found on consoles..

Check out the Thrustmaster Dual Analog

I have one and think its the best gamepad I've ever used.. I'm awesome in Tony Hawk with it



Runner up would be the older version of the Gravis Xterminator
(not the new force feedback one which looks totally different) ... The Xterminator is great for racing games because it
has two anlaog shoulder paddles similar to the Xbox and Dreamcast the can be used for gas/brake ..it also has a throttle button
for flight sims..though I prefer a joystick for those.

i have a ps2, xbox, gamecube, and pc.

this is not the type of game that shines on the pc IMHO. its like putting civ3 on a console, it sucks. "gamepads" are poor imitations of console controllers. anything that has this much driving in it does not fit well with the pc. i also have gta3 for the ps2, its great. when you get the game try picking up a hooker and parking in a deserted area. makes your health go up, and gets the car rockin'. you will lose money, but you can just kill the hooker afterwards and get it back. i picked up 2 at once one time, pretty funny stuff.


one of the best parts of the game are the police chaces.

Dont hate dude, the best stuff has come out of pc. I'm not putting either down, but look at is this way: on the pc its all about replay value, and the fact is: Internet play has the highest replay value. Unless you're a loner that likes to spend his time playing pacman over and over again. Multiplayer adds variety in gaming. And sorry to tell you, the xbox controller is one of the worst designs in gaming controls. <and i thought dreamcast took the prize for that one> The ugliest but most comfortable control I have held was on the gamecube. The best design i think is the PS controller. (But these are all my oppinions)

i'd say wait for the xbox version. it should be a crime to play this game with a keyboard/mouse

Uhhh, no.

I have a game pad, force feedback wheel with pedals, force feedback joystick, Saitek joystick/throttle combo with about a gazillion (that's a lot) of programable buttons, optical wheel 5-button mouse, ergo keyboard, am I missing anything.....

PC games are the only way to go, IMHO

(PS I am a bit drunk right now, LOL. Bad day, worse week.)

I started the GTA3 craze here at school, and this looks great! Lets hope they fixed the damn shooting engine, that thing was terrible on PS2.
