Damn this thing is huge lol! Had to make room in my case by moving the HDD's closer to the front. *buying new case soon*. Installed the drivers in my system, and I am very impressed with the Catalyst control center. *this coming from a life long nvidia fan boy*. My card runs 50c idle, and gets up to around 65-70c under load.
The fan is not as noisy as others let it on to be. The fan gets real loud after a reboot but thats just a fan check. Overall it's no louder than my 7600 GTS I had. I'm very impressed with the image enhancements options ATI has in their drivers. I"m running 6x AA 16x AF and playing BF2 in high without any lag at all *7600GT would slow down at times this thing does not*.
Doom 3, and Quake IV are a solid 60 FPS. Overall I'm very satified with the Sapphire x1950xt 256 MB version. If anyone is sitting on the fence, I say go for it. Very good upgrade. Now bring on my brisbane so I can give it some help.
