First Playstation portable wifi service launched in South Korea by Korea Telecom(Nespot).

PSP + Nationwide 11MBPS wifi service = u can watch high quality movies, stream musics..and etc

I'll be sure to get on that when I move to South Korea... and actually buy a PSP.

Good news for PSP owners as that setup might find it's way to the US soon if it does well over there.

April 7, 2005 - Woo, woo, Sony, and good on ya: the company announced today that, during its first week on North American shores, the PlayStation Portable generated more than $150 million in sales. Sony says more than 500,000 PSP Value Packs were sold in the system's first two days alone.

The sales figures, Sony claims, trounce the first-week performance of any comparable product. Quick translation: the PSP is a hit.

Introduced in North America on March 24, the PSP is Sony's bold entry into the handheld gaming market. The system (in case you've miraculously managed to miss it so far) features a vibrant, high-resolution display, built-in wireless, and a serious gaming processor -- among many other bells and whistles. it should however be pointed out that sony shipped 1 million units for launch, so they only sold through 50% of launch supply...

if you want to start a system war, Nintendo shipped 500k DS'es, and sold all of them.

And DS has outsold PSP in Japan, and both systems have been out for about the same time over there.


but I have both systems and love them dearly

its understandable why the ds has outsold the psp in japan. nintendo has built a name for themselves in the portable gaming market, you don't think 15+ years of experience will just go down the tubes with it's first major competitor do you?
