First screenshots for EA's Medal of Honor

Electronic Arts released the first screenshots for what it hopes to be a Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 killer, Medal of Honor. The game is a complete reboot of the series that's been around since 1999 in various console and PC forms. This time the game has moved into the present and follows "Tier 1 operators" in Afghanistan.

What we can see tell from the screens is that the game will be operating in some pretty desolate mountainous areas and possibly feature insertion tactics.

I hope this game isn't just an exact clone of MW1/2 cus if it was I wouldn't buy it.

I hope they don't mess it up with the EA/DICE combo... What I'm worried about is them taking that horrible battlefield engine and building a Medal of Honor game onto it. Battlefield has such horrible mechanics and I hope MOH does not follow the trend.

In my opinion (From experience) the final product never looks as good as the screenshots. I'm sure this will be the same case for this game, as the screenshots look too good to be true.

Looks decent, but I just don't think that EA has it in them to make a good MoH game anymore. Man I miss Allied Assault...it's been downhill like crazy since then.

Yeah, that beach landing level was one of the most intense levels ever. Played that over and over again.

I can't believe how doctored screenshots have become these days. I mean just look at the prerelease shots for any game and then compare it to the final. It's a total joke.

I had a lot of fun with the PS3 Battlefield Bad Company 2 Beta. Vehicles + destroyable buildings and destroyable cover = win.

At least Dice is innovating, Activision is just pushing the same formula for sales.

I know what you're saying, the Battlefield games have an amazing concept and the vehicles and destroyable buildings are awesome. However, I think that every one of the Battlefield games has lag problems compared to something like the COD series of games. It's been that way since 1942, and the only battlefield game I haven't played is 2142.

I would have to say though that it seems as though they fixed up some of the lag issues in 1943 and BC2, although I can still feel it

That being said, if they could make the controls feel more responsive like the COD series of games, plus get rid of that lagging feeling, the games would be much more awesome.

Looks great, Rising Sun was a lot of fun online back in the day, and MW2 is a huge disappointment so this is a welcome sight. Hopefully they will get it right this time, because MW2 just showed that IW does not have it's finger on the pulse of the gaming community.

Seriously? Did you NOT look at the screen shots? I didnt know they had ATV's, M4 assault rifles, and kevlar helmets in WWII...

I had high hopes for MOH: Airborne and was disappointed. Will wait and see on this.
