Don't forget Chevy is putting out a supercharged Corvette out and placing the current Z06 as the base model.

The SS/Bluedevil will cost twice as much MSRP. But, being the Super Snake and the Vette SS are both limited production cars and collectibles we will have to wait to see where the market brings them.

Except this is sold by Shelby America Inc not Ford. And, judging preliminary stats, I think it will.

gotcha.

Ehh sorry, I don't like the GT500 or the super snake. Too damn heavy for what it is. Also I bet those hood pins are just rice addons.

You just called a Mustang 'ricey'. I like it.

Except the hood pins are functional and are to keep the hood from flipping up at high speeds just like the old muscle cars. Are they really necessary? No, but they function and look great in keeping with the whole style IMO, and certainly are not ricey.

a Civic isn't meant to be a fast car, they look Ricey on a Civic because you shouldn't want a Civic to be a race car, looks out of place. on a Shelby? I mean this car screams muscle in stock form. The hood pins are justifiable on such a beast, a Civic can never be a beast

No hood pins are for cars that can actually go fast that need it. Once again though it could be accomplished in other ways. But, this was makes it look badass and keeps in traditional muscle car form. A civic would have them to make it look fast, the SS is.

Also, as my saying goes, Ford and Shelby make mustangs for people who buy them not people who bitch about them.

it might not be slow but it's still a Civic, hood pins look great *imho* on a real car. You technically could rice a Neon to the point it was a fast car. why on earth anyone would want to mod a Civic so extremely is beyond me but to each his own. I don't follow non American cars much, but wouldn't altering a Civic to push that hard be a royal PITA? Maybe I'll mod my Taurus and make it a Turbo Sedan. hehe I wonder what the most modded Taurus is?

Yup because the aerodynamics of the econobox really suit 150mph+ speeds where hood pins are needed.

Wow.

BTW, how many different Mustang models do Ford and Shelby have to make?

Enough that they are in high demand and the GT500KR is going to be 47k over MSRP at dealerships.
