(first time) girlfriend help

k, never had a girlfriend, and in school, I've always thought that different people were "hot", that's what you told people when they asked you who you liked. They defined "like" as "who's hot".

But enter said girl. *Help me, i'm mellllllting! nooooooooooo*

Whenever I see her, I feel much better about life good. My day brightens and it feels like I can take over the world . I think she's hot, of course, but it's more than that. It's a lot more than that. I think she might like me too, but we just don't ever say anything like that (at least I don't). We talk a lot at different times, but I'm wondering if I should just go out in the open and tell her I like her, or something.

Figured I could get some anonymous help here cause I can't really ask my friends I guess. I just wondered if I could ask some people who have done this before. What would you do if you were me? I would get a pic, but no camera

aah, first love. (or crush) so sweet. Why not talk some more as friends and just get to know each other? First find out if she has a guy or someone she may be interested in. If there's no one, then ask her out. If you don't want to pressure her, then go with a group of friends first and then go on a 'date' alone. I have a BF so I don't have to worry about these things anymore.

Nope, no BF. Said she could want one, it just depends on who it is (while looking at me out of the corner of her eye) Yay!. True, I do have to get to know her a little better. Shouldn't be to hard though.

Tell you her you like her and that you're interested in getting to know her better. That's invitation enough to spend more time together and it's not pressure either. After a week or two of that, mention dating. But I bet it comes up sooner on its own. Good luck.

good point. I don't know if that will be so easy though. We don't get together THAT often. There's still some amount of secrecy between us, but also, nobody else really hangs out with her as much as I do. hehe.

Maybe I'm taking this the right direction, and maybe not. Hope in the right though. Woudn't that be great. She is pretty excited to see me and is quite attentive to our conversations. Could be lookin up.

yea, if you need a good way to ask her out, you could do something like go "hey i heard *insert movie* was coming out... that looks really good..." and you see what her reaction is... if it's a positive one... go "hey, you wanna go see it?"

She obviously likes you. You're a shoe-in. Give it a shot. You've got nothing to lose and everything to gain.

I remember that happening to me but I never acted on it. The regret lasted quite a while. I learnt from it though. So save yourself the heart ache and do it. It'll be a bit difficult but just try and imagine that nothing else matters except asking her out. Focus yourself and bloody well do it!

When you talk to her..

ask her a lot of stuff about herself. Regardless of whether or not her interests / life intrigues you, make yourself be interested. Be very sparing about what you tell her about yourself. Let her discover it in little bits; it'll keep the mystery going and that makes it even more fun.

Yeah, if she throws a hint like that, do it. I regretted not asking a girl from my dorm out when she was clearly egging onto me to ask her out. She gave me the look, most here know what it is, and she said she was looking to find a new boyfriend. Man, was I an idiot. I still regret it a year later, she was the kindest, and hottest girl I've met period.

Go for it! I'm a junior right now and have been dating the same girl since sophomore year. I was such an idiot i had no idea really that she even liked me until she called me up and hung up on me 5 times. Then she said something in French and i was like wtf are you talking about. THen she hung up and called again and was like, ok do you want to go out? It took me by surprise, sure I liked her and all, but I didn't think she liked me. Looking back on the time leading up to her asking me out i can clearly see that I was just an idiot.

Morale: In 3 months you will look back and be like, wow I was such an idiot, of course she liked me
