I have an ENLIGHT EN-72370AZ case that I want to do a lot of mods too. I hope someone can answer a few questions before I jump into this.

1. Is their a cheap hand powered tool that I can buy to cut a hole in my case for my windows? I don't want to buy a jig saw and I don't know anyone that owns one.

2. I want to paint the case. What kind of paint should I look for? I want something glossy.

3. Does anyone sell clear covers that go over the unused 5.25 and 3.5 bays?

4. Is my 340 watt psu enough to run a 15 inch blacklight without any problems to my hardware?

5. What other sites besides www.frozencpu.com sell case mods?

Thanks for any advice.

Ya know, I don't even know where to start answering all these questions...

Ah... edited to add them in, now I can do it...

1. Is their a cheap hand powered tool that I can buy to cut a hole in my case for my windows? I don't want to buy a jig saw and I don't know anyone that owns one.
- Actually a jigsaw is about $20 from any home improvement or Sears. About the cheapest tool you can get, as even a dremel costs more.

2. I want to paint the case. What kind of paint should I look for? I want something glossy.
- Any good enamel or acrylic will work fine. Look for some at either an auto parts place or a home improvement store. Lots of textured ones available now too.

3. Does anyone sell clear covers that go over the unused 5.25 and 3.5 bays?
- Not that I have seen.

4. Is my 340 watt psu enough to run a 15 inch blacklight without any problems to my hardware?
- Yep.

5. What other sites besides www.frozencpu.com sell case mods?
- Tons... do a search and you will find links to more than you need.

1. Get a Dremel. Case modder's best friend. Should be about $45 at Home Depot. Oops, you said hand powered. Well, you're not gonna like the results from a handtool. I suppose you culd use tin snips but you'd still need to drill a hole to start it.

2-4. I wish I could remember that site with all that stuff.

That Enlight case is one of my favorites, cheap and easy to modify. Do yourself a favor and swap the side panels. Move the panel with the vent holes to the side you're NOT going to install the window in.

1. A cheap, hand-power tool used for cutting a case window is a nibbler. Very slow, but also very precise. Take your time and rest your hand often. Can be found online and at local Radio Shack for around $10.

2. To paint the metal parts use a textured paint. These hide little mistakes well. I like the "Hammered" paint from Rust-Oleum. For the plastic parts use a vinyl dye. Both can be found at auto parts stores.

3. I've never seen clear bay covers. I'd suggest you dye the covers that came with the case along with the front bezel.

4. Unless you have a very long list of other hardware, that PSU should be plenty.

Thanks for the help.
I noticed the neon black light is a lot cheaper than the cold cathode. Are the cold cathode ones just cooler or are their other advantages?

Cathodes are supposed to put out a lot more light than the neons. I've got a 8" blue neon tube in my case now and I just ordered a 12" blue cathode from FrozenPC. I'll let you know if there's a big difference when I see them side by side.

OK, the cold cathodes came in today. As promised, here are pictures of the case lit by a neon tube and then by a cathode. A huge difference. The Neon cost ~$18 and the CC was ~$25. Spend the extra few bucks and be happy.
