Encore is a very nice place (stayed there a couple times) but you're at the far end of the strip. So, plan on a lot of walking. A very good site to read before you go is www.cheapovegas.com . Their reviews of places to go, eat, play, etc.. are pretty much spot on.

Trump is a nice enough hotel, but it's kind of a hike to get to the Strip and there's no casino in the hotel (if that matters to you).

(I've been to Vegas way too many times, so if anyone has any particular questions, feel free to ask)

I've done this like 3 times and it's worked twice and gotten one black-jack dealer 10 years in jail AND on a list for the rest of his life.

They are trannies because you need a dude, obviously, and because without someone wearing a skirt in the mix the whole bit I can't say here just doesn't make any sense.

There's one clear recommendation: Cirque du Soleil. It's the best thing there.

The top shows are O, Love, and Ka, with Mystere up there. I'd see Zumanity last.

After that - buffets are a Vegas event; I hear Hard Rock cafe is nice, Bellagio is often called the best.

You can rent a supercar (like Lamborghini) for a few hours.

Meh. Cirque shows are ok but WAY overpriced. Hit the cheap tickets booth in the morning if you really want to go. I'd recommend seeing Matsuri at the Imperial Palace though. Similar kind of show, but in my opinion more entertaining and a lot cheaper. Plus the cast is made up of a number of contestants from Ninja Warrior!

As for buffets, the best are Bellagio, Planet Hollywood, and the new Cosmopolitan.

As for searching, Vegas changes so fast aside from the rio buffet it's probably different every summer. It was for the seven years I lived out there, that's for sure.

How do u get free drinks while gamblin? Can I play nickel slots? Lol

Find a good blackjack table with a nice dealer and see how long you can last playing by the book (if the dealer is nice, they will tell you what the book says). Mucho free drinks, and good fun if you're lucky. And obviously the chance to win something.

Don't spend your entire time in the hotel casino, get out and see the sights and shoes. Spend the trip playing slots like so many people do, you're an idiot.

I just got back from 7 days/6 nights there. It was awesome.

We skipped the Cirque and decided to see Penn and Teller at the Rio. That was very cool. Also the Stratosphere offered an awesome night time view and the thrill rides up there are reasonably priced, but short. You can get an unlimited pass for like $34 but once or twice on each will be enough for most people.

Red Rock Canyon is gorgeous. Put on sunscreen and bring plenty of water.

And if you rent a Lamborghini, don't be like the jackass I saw who spent all day roaring up and down the strip between traffic lights. He sure thought he was cool, but in reality he was a douchey tool and we just rolled our eyes every time we heard him coming.

If you eat at the Peppermill (insane portions; I think their omelets are made with 10 or 12 eggs), tell the extremely cute waitress Crystal that I said hi. I would do really naughty things to her. She wasn't like the pretentious stuck up girls who thought they were prettier and more important than they actually were. Really nice girl.

Limos and Town Cars cruise the strip like cabs. They bounce from casino to casino. Skip the taxi rank with all the douchers, walk up to a limo driver and offer him $20 to shuttle you and your mates to your destination. More than likely he's down; he's probably going there anyway.
