If I ever do want to make a deal with them, I'll deal with it in writing and not over the phone anymore. I don't believe these people anymore or the credit card company. I'll fight this if they'll make me go to court.

I hate to file for bankruptcy. I've build up my credit for the last 9 years and developed a very good credit rating. I hate to lose that rating.

When I used to receive the statements, they sent it to my address and not my parents. I called them to change my address twice and confirmed it by telling them to repeat it for me. It's a long story. When I called them back, one person told me they have my old address on file and when I called back again 5 min. later to speak with the higher person, she had my current address. I don't know what they're doing right now. It seems like they just ignoring my requests.

What really gets me mad is when the first time I called them, the representive didn't believe it was me. After we've done all that, I asked him to verify my new address and telephone and he didn't have a clue. He never did change my adddress. I think he's probably agreeing with me just to get me off the phone.

About documenting everything, I learned my lesson indeed. I called them up the 2nd time and they did have all the information that I've talked with the first time I called. She was nice and told me not to worry and keep apologizing. She said not to worry at all and they will have it solved immediately. Now I know she's also lying as well.

Hate to tell you this, but if you moved and didn't notify them of your new address, your F'ed. Ignorance is not an excuse in the real world. The fact that you told hte post office doesn't matter since that's onlya temporary solution.
