I hadn't been down the WalMart clearance isle in a while, because there's usually no good deals. As I wandered through and it appeared they moved 1/3 of the fishing isle, but the GOOD STUFF.
All the Rapalas were $5 including XRAPs. (Not a bad deal as the majority of my better ones are now living at the bottom of the lake or in a tree) There were plenty of other divers, floaters, and poppers of many styles. There was a better selection of clearance items, than actual items in many other stores. (This was in South Bend, IN at the intersection of Ireland and 31)
They had a few reels, but not much. Plenty of other cranks and good plastics, including many GULPs, The other stuff didn't seem to be as good as the discounts on the crankbaits, but as a fisherman, I think it's still worth a peek. Stock up for spring!
