Yep. Loved it. It was exactly what I expected (cars, girls, guns, explosions, destruction), and the best of the Furious movies so far.

Makes me wish they'd make another Bad Boys movie.

Unfortunately, I haven't been able to see this yet (look up Alabama for the reason why ), but it has surprisingly good reviews, so I'll definitely check it out.

My favorite so far has been Tokyo Drift though. I'm not a huge fan of drag racing, so the whole not driving in a straight line was nice . The acting was pretty meh, and putting a RB26DETT into a MUSTANG (for a touge race) is simply sacrilegious!

when i first saw the first preview to the first movie years ago, i thought it was going to be the best street racing movie ever made. then i saw the movie and i knew this was one of the dumbest movies ever made, and i never saw any of the sequels. way too over the top... good premise but if they just made it realistic....

I feel like I could go and enjoy this movie if they hadn't decided to make it into another fast and furious sequel and if Paul Walker wasn't in it (or was killed during filming).

As it stands, I'm just tired of fast and furious, and I hate Paul Walker with a passion because he's never made me believe he's anyone other than Paul Walker. No way I'm seeing this in theaters. I'll wait until it's on Vudu or Netflix.

first movie --> a bunch of one-liners strung together
second movie --> there was a second movie?
third movie --> decent, pretty good, albiet slightly random; tie in at the end is okay
fourth movie --> didn't like the driving under border tunnels part, but good
fifth movie --> car-gasm best of the bunch. to stay faithful to the original, the rock's lines were almost entirely silly one liners.

Sooo many faulty premises in the movie and illogical plots (beyond the unrealistic action), but its one of those movies that you just go in to enjoy, and my my my it delivers

The scene with the bank vault being drug through the street by cables attached to cars looks like somebody graduated in liberal arts in order to avoid any math or physics classes. /facepalm

It was entertaining but way too over the top for me. I have no problem with suspension of disbelief, but man that movie was full of physical impossibilities that I just couldn't get past.

saw it today and it was fucking awesome ... strongly recommended, probably my favorite in the series.

also did a jaw drop at the "hidden" scene after the credits.

Probably won't see in theatre but will be happy to rent when it hits Blu Ray. Kudos to the studio to get the original cast back. While cheesy it was a fun movie. This looks the same...which is good.

I can enjoy these movies, and Bay movies as well. They aren't my "I want to chill, relax, and enjoy some good Thinking" type movie, but they are my "I don't want to use my brain, I want to soak up ADD-fueled filmmaking" movies.

Sometimes I just want to entertain my ADD, sometimes I want to engage all parts of my brain.
There's nothing wrong with liking popcorn action flicks, especially if one also watches the thinkers, the dramas, the depressing ones (where the ending isn't very happy or motivational).
I know someone who essentially hates almost all of my favorite movies, because they aren't happy.
I think it's weird to only want to be made happy by movies. I don't go into movies wanting to be sad or depressed when they are over, and I'm not generally in such a state at the end, but sometimes those movies just roll through their story in a way that is more fulfilling.
