What's your PSU?
I'm running a Vega 56, which most likely has worse drivers than a Fury, but games have run fine for me so far, albeit somewhat old ones.

Silverstone ST 1000 P 80 plus Silver.

Reinstalled Windows, ran older and newer drivers.. no difference.

Changed motherboard PCI-E slot.. no difference.

Temps are under 75c at all times on GPU, CPU barely ever goes above 60C ever unless i'm rendering something.

Can this be a PSU issue?

PSU is 6-7 years old, no CPU instability which is running at 4.4ghz right this second with HT enabled.. it's an E5640 Xeon.

But BSOD's and actual hard crashes do not exist, so .... i'm thinking it's clearly not PSU ?

I run a Creative SoundBlaster Audigy FX sound card and have onboard audio disabled in the bios.

I mean, could be. Could also be memory related, had a friends computer do something similar and it was memory. FWIW, I play quite a bit of CSGO, Overwatch, and BF1, no issues on my fury, nor do i have issues with any other game.

Rolling back to 15.11.1 drivers from late 2015... yeah just before "crimson" drivers were a thing.

Gotta try something.. heck Deus Ex MKD, ROTTR don't even exist yet with that driver, going to be interesting if an older driver remains stable playing those..

All i can say is i have looked on Google for a bit and others have pointed that Crimson drivers are much worse than prior, drivers were actively worked on much harder than the Crimson versions.

But that's just responses from people with opinions, not actual facts... so..

Will test my memory if this driver downgrade still does not fix it.

I didn't have bluescreen for over a year now on my Fury. Never had a screen lockup or game crash in the games you pointed - only if overclock or undervolt was not stable.

PUBG used to crash many times but this was fixed also. I'm always on newest drivers.
I have ROTTR, GTA V, BF3, and non of them crashed once for me. The best driver is the newset driver. I don't know why someone on the internet would like old drivers. They were slower. On pre Crimson I used to have "thread stuck in device driver". But it's been ages since I had it last time. I think Fury drivers are now at it's peek stability (have the card since early 2016).

How have you tested to know that the card is not faulty?
How do you know your CPU overclock is stable?

If you put everything to stock, use the newest drivers, and it is still crashing, then maybe the card is at fault (assuming the PSU is fine).

did a repair on GTA V and it works flawless now... fresh GTA V install and it needs repairing?
