Whould adding extra cooling (say a crystal orb with AS3) to the northbridge of an 8KHA+ help overclocking or does the northbridge not even got hot enough to worry about? Currently when I pas 150Mhz FSB my comp becomes a little unstable (I can run games for about an hour before locking up), I know it's not the Ram (I have PC2700 so it can take at leat 166 before becomming unstable), I seriously doubt it's the CPU as I rearly go over 41C. So that leaves the Motherboard and the PCI slots. I have fairly high end PCI cards, but they couls still be the problem, so that brings me back to my original queston. Would cooling the motherboard more help overclocking? At the very least I'm thinking of remounting the MB HSF withg AS3, but am considering replacing it all together.
