Another "problem" with the S100.
The S10 and S100 has a continuous photo mode, where it takes several photos each a second apart, a very useful feature as it lets you take a "slide show" of images. The number of photos the camera takes is limited by the amount of storage memory it has in the camera, not the flash memory mind you, these cameras have a bit of memory in the camera that stores an image immediately to be saved to the flash a few seconds later.
My S10 takes about 6 continuous photos at 1600x1200 in fine mode, ~10 at 1280x1024 fine, and at 800x600 fine it takes, um, about 25.
With the S100, you only have 1600x1200 super fine, 1600x1200 fine and 640x480 fine to take continuous pictures from, so you either take a few continous 1600x1200 or you take lots and lots of 640x480. However, we all know that printing a 640x480 image would be very very small, so basically you have to chose, do I want to just take 5 images continously that I could print or should i take a few dozen small images that I can't print?
Course I'd still trade my s10 in for a s100, but that feature may be more important to some of you guys than it is to me, although I'm discovering more and more how great it is, i mean I don't have to worry about pressing the shutter at that perfect moment to get the perfect 5x7 (1280x1024), i just hold it down and let the camera snap away
