Went at lunch today with a printout of this page:
http://www.getintothegame.com/promos.asp
Was told that this deal was "online only" by two different people. Left disturbed, but curious.
Went back to work and saw this page:
http://www.getintothegame.com/bonus_main.asp
which explicitly states: SPECIAL OFFERS AT TARGET; Check out the great
in-store deals at Target!
Printed it out, along with a printout of a page where I added a GameCube to my cart with no description of the gift card deal. (i.e., this isn't even available online)
Went to Target # 2 after work and first showed the cashier the original printout. He said "Cool". He saw my
$5 Metroid Prime coupon and said "You want Metroid Prime for $15?" and I said "Sure! Oh hey if I apply for a Target card I get 10% off right?" and he said yeah.
To make a long story a little less long, nobody knew how to ring up the $20 giftcard, including the Electronics Cashier, the Guest services guy that rung me up, or the Supervisor. So a call was made to the Electronics Supervisor... who was in a meeting!! So the cashier made the Executive Decision to just take the $20 off my bill so i didn't have to wait around.

WOW. Total came out to $139.99. I didn't end up needing the extra printouts, but it was good to have the insurance on hand in case they tried to give me some B.S. about it being "online only". The printout had the date at the bottom too so as proof that the site had the ad up today. This is definitely a YMMV deal.
