Is the warranty for 3 years if you buy it by itself or is it just if you buy it with a system? I bought a 1800FP not too long ago and I thought that you only get a warranty if you buy it with a system.

BTW.. Has anyone seen how the auctions are playing out? They are hovering in the low $500 range (most people haven't even gotten their monitors yet from what I hear) and just as I predicted.. Everyone is jacking their S&H fee to $50 or more to compensate for the lower price. There is no way in the world that this monitor would even take half that much money to ship anywhere in the continental US.

That doesn't mean diddly squat. It's not direct from Dell. Unless you get a piece of paper from Dell or a snapshot of Dell's website that says 3 years (and not UP TO 3 years), you got this <insert gratuitous crotch grab here>.

There's a lot of conflicting info on this. I'd post on Dell's support site. I've looked a few times, and I never saw an answer from Dell (just other folks on the forum). Seems like Dell doesn't want to touch this one.

I ordered 8/17, finally got word that my order was being processed on 8/24, then just got status report today of my order being cancelled. I used 6% link + 15% promotion + 10% coupon. Anyone else in the same boat as me?

i ordered a 1901 a while back and I noticed a stuck pixel on it. Dell sent me a new one under the 30 day policy. But the replacement has a stuck pixel as well. The first one had a blue stuck pixel and the replacement has a red stuck pixel. I called customer service and they will not send a second replacement. So I am left with a couple options that I can think of. Chose between which monitor has the least impact with the stuck pixel and move on. Or press them for a refund and buy another hoping not to get a stuck pixel again.

What do you all think?

PS. I am now past the limit on the 30 day policy, so even the return could be denied, correct?

To make you feel any better, I have a blue stuck pixel on mine too. I just learn to live with it.
