The MR814 is basically identical to the MR314 except the 814 is in a bigger and shinier case and it has a detachcable antenna. The firmware is a bit different, but I bet you can load the firmware from one into the other.

The MR814 is also a 4 port switch. They're basically the same product, one is just newer (the 814).

If it's similar to that linksys router + clicksmart rebate we had during the summer (had same terms), your rebate will show up as invalid (they'll tell you it expired July). You will then have to explain to them that the rebate form clearly shows that the rebate is valid all the way through 12/31. Depending on the Parago CSR you get, he/she might do a so called "one time courtesy" validation for you or you'll get the run around (e.g. asking to send in proof).

Frankly I don't think the hassle is worth it. Just go with the 89-30 MIR deal.

I think this rebate form has been jimmy-rigged. I've spent the last 15 mintues looking for an additional link to this rebate with no success. The only links I found are associated with the rebate that ended in July. I wouldn't do it.

The rebate is hosted by Office Depot (rebate center). I assume it's absolutely valid.
Go to http://www.officedepot.com, click on the Rebate Center on the left, choose Logitech as the Manufacture, you'll find the following rebates:
