flashfxp is an *excellent* ftp client. I use it to transfer to/from my XBOX all the time.

FlashFXP is a nice client I used years back before P2P became the new trading ground. Don't have that much use for FTP anymore... but it is certainly a nice price. I've used SmartFTP before too. SmartFTP has a lovely interface, but it was extremely buggy back then. I haven't tried it for a long time since.

I like IPSWITCH's WS FTP though it's not free. No complaints and very fast. I'll check out Smart FTP though. Thanks ActuaryTm.

Indeed it was. Find it is much better now. Haven't run into any issues with recent builds.

Any actual data to support this? Personally have used both, and - like many of the worthy clients mentioned in this thread - the differences were limited to user preference and, in this case, cost as well.

gotta bump for my favorite ftp/fxp client.

im pretty sure smartftp doesnt do fxp transfers.

fxp = connect 2 ftps and transfer from one directly to another w/o going through you.

not sure about filezilla. never used it but any screen shots?

i like flashfxp because the user interface is nice and resembled cuteftp (before it became bloated).

false. there was an add on app devloped by a third party that was supposed to check your FTP lists for valid functioning ftp's, however it ended up mailing that list to a website with your user/pass.

awesome deal, got in on this today. I love flashfxp and this saves me so much trouble.. every time a new one came out it was a big hassle to get working without it nagging. In fact i was about to post, but i did a quick search and found out someone beat me to it.

i like smartftps interface... and mulitple connections. altho, for $10... it sure looks nice. No annoying smartftp nagging screen either....

I use filezilla too, but it's interface... is just not up to par I don't think. especially if you have to get to the my documents folder or the desktop.
