Hey guys I just got an ATI X800 GTO and installed it on my PC, I am experiencing frequent and random on/off flashes of my display. One second I can be typing a post the next the screen goes black, comes back, goes black, etc. One funny thing is that when I uninstall ATI drivers and windows recognizes it as a default VGA adapter the screen never does the flashing routine.
I thought this might be a driver issue so I have switched between the 6.7, 6.6, and 6.3 catalyst drivers. However, that hasn't seemed to do anything to stop it. So my question is what could be my problem and how can I go about fixing it, besides RMAing it.
