Flawless upgrade

Wow! Never in my 16 years of computer building experience had I had an upgrade that went completely flawless. Everything just worked as it should! I recently bought the follow:

Asus P5K-E Wifi
Intel Q6600
G.Skill 4 x 2GB (8GB total)
Geforce 8800GTS
2 x 74GB raptor raid on ICH9R

Basically, I installed everything carefully, and the computer started on the first try! Then I was feeling lucky and overclocked the processor to 3.2Ghz before installing Vista 64. Well Vista 64 installed without a hitch and even found the drivers for the stupid ATK0110. No blue screen of death, mysterious restarts, no freezes, nada! All I had to do was update the graphics and motherboard drivers and everything was set. I feel giddy just thinking about how everything went. LOL.

I hear you on that.....I'm really good at fixing computers and stuff.....but every single time I upgrade my computer I run into some strange obscure problem that shouldn't happen.

But I could upgrade anyone elses system problem free. It was only my own system that did strange things.

Once was back in Win2k era I was upgrading and had a RAID array and Win2k setup wouldn't format it. I had to run fdisk and format it in DOS (took FOREVER) in order for it to actually install. Worked great after that though.

Then when I had XP on my system and upgraded, my video card and motherboard wouldn't work right...but only in the BIOS. The display was all jumbled in the BIOS but fine everywhere else. Had to update the firmware on the video card to fix it, but I had the system overclocked and it wouldn't install XP overclocked so I had to put another vid card in temporarily.

Other crap has happened too but anyway.
