Just for anyone that may be interested, I got a set of these from Compusa Auctions. They're going for $54.99 + 19.00 shipping. Sales tax only in Tenessee.

I'm not sure on the quality, but for what they retail, I just couldn't resist.

They also pop up on Sam's Club auctions every now and then. Not sure what the shipping is on them.

Anybody hear them yet? It seems that they're powered. Might be a good choice if you have a line out on your TV. Don't need a home theater for more sound.

I should be getting mine soon, I will just let everyone know how they sound. The stats are pretty impressive, and they are NOT powered. I will let ya'll know in hopefully not too long. I wasn't able to find a review online at all for these, so it could be a first...

I did a quick search online and found some forums in German that had a few comments about these. Several of them were of the type Goosemaster shared. I did see that the LEB-401's were 10kg each (~22lbs), which isn't too bad, but their hyped up specs would make me very wary. You can pick up some acoustic research s40's for about this much on ebay, and I would be more confident in their sound quality. If you can't find any reviews (even by other consumers), that's not a very good sign.

I don't expect them to be great, just better then my L/R cubes (Harmon kardon) for my HT setup (which is 99.99% TV/DVD. Very little music.
For $70 shipped, it is worth a shot, can always ebay and recoup my $$ if they really sound like $hit.

From what I can gather from my search on the net for this speaker company, it is a new company, and it's products are not reviewed anywhere that I can find. I guess there's only 2 ways to find out what these speakers are like, order a pair and hear for yourself or wait for others to feedback on them. Sometimes cheaply priced speakers can have excellent sound...let's hope for the best. I am SO tempted to order a pair of these, but I already have too many speakers and my wife would put me in the doghouse for a *long* time if I ordered them.

To those folks that do recieve them...PLEASE PLEASE let us all know what they sound like!!!

Well, I just got 'em today, and I'm ready to do a little review on 'em, but there's a problem. I don't know how to conduct a decent review on speakers. I've never done it before. Does anyone have any MP3's that they can suggest or send to me? Also, is anyone willing to host pictures? I'm open to suggestions, and I got some free time now that it's the weekend, so lemme know!

You don't need to give specifics. Just rate them on how they perform: highs, lows, and mids, etc. The audiophiles are long gone after seeing the price tag on these

Use any music that you like.
How do they sound to you, based on all of the speakers that you have listened to over the years.
Listen at a moderate level, not ear crushing.
How 'bout just using great, good, bad, or really bad as descriptions.
What's the bass like, boomy, weak, or tight? Howbout the treble, is it harsh or smooth? Are the mids muddy or clear? That should keep you in the ballpark.
I think "real" reviews are done with sophisticated sound equipment and graphs and stuff like that. I can't speak for everyone, but I'm just interested in your basic opinion.

These have been mentioned before. If you use the research in that post and dig a little you'll find these actually come from China. I don't recall the mfr but all the models are available there. I still don't know how good they are. They do seem to offer an opportunity for anyone who wants to import them. It seems like more and more companies are doing that nowadays. They used to be ebay and local dealers only.

I got them last nite as well.

They are definately cheap speakers. I replaced my 3.5" Harmon Kardon Front L/L cubes with them for my 5.1 system. Highs and mids decent, very little bottom, but how much could u expect with 6.5 woofers.
The speakers are not very large, not very heavy (22lbs ea.) They def. sound beeter then the cubes did for my purposes-I was missing too much in the midrange with the small speakers. I can now hear what I was missing.
I paid $50 + shipping for them and that was def. worth it. NOthing else for that price in anything like these.
No where near Paradigms, Axioms,etc, but they cost no wehre near as much. They are cheap, but decently made and don't sound bad in my application. I have heard MUCH worse then these.

No they do not, but for $50, they suit my needs.

I cranked them yesterday with some music and they sound pretty good. Again, not Klipsch and not Paradigm Studios good, but for $50, they certainly sounded better then anything BOSE makes.
They are also much better then my 3.5 or 4" HK cubes for L/R mains in my 99.9% Hometheater-Apt. environment.
