I like these speakers, despite their cheap look. I find myself crankin' em up, and they sound pretty dang good. A nice full spectrum of sound, and I can hear a nice clear bass also. Not bad for cheap construction. They weigh close to nothing, which is rather upsetting, and are definitely not worth their "suggested" retail price. I would gladly pay $50 for them again, but anything more is asking a little too much. I'd go with a more well known brand if you can afford better, but these work for their price tag. All-in-all, I'm glad I got 'em.

I cranked them yesterday with some music and they sound pretty good. Again, not Klipsch and not Paradigm Studios good, but for $50, they certainly sounded better then anything BOSE makes.
They are also much better then my 3.5 or 4" HK cubes for L/R mains in my 99.9% Hometheater-Apt. environment.

Well, altho decent for a measly $50, I am retiring them giving them to inlaws for their party room.

Was going with the Fluance, but fell in love with the JBL Northridge E80's last night (dual 6.5's, 4" mid and 1" tweeter) and the EC35 center channel.

Cheapo speaker days is over, time to move on to lower to middle end- mid level stuff

Fluance are amazing.

my friends bought all kinds of other speakers and i keep coming back to my fluance sit down and am very happy. For the price point they are more than capable. They are not going to be as good as say 1000 dollars speakers but at the 500 range they are very capable. Pair fluance speakers with an sv sub sit back and relax.

I have the sx-htb set and they definetly have bass. so much so that i dont use my sub unless im watching movies.
