Floppy Drive Woes

I cant figure out how to get my floppy drive to work!! I hook everything up correctly but when i go to start up all I get is the green light from the floppy on and it stays on but no floppy works =(. Someone must know what I am doing wrong please help me.

Flip floppy cable over.

Plug in the cable the other way If it's not keyed (having the notch in the plug end), then the usual rule is that the red wire goes on the side of the plug closest to the power plug. If reversing the plug on the drive doesn't work, reverse it on the board. Also, make sure that the twisted wires in the cable are on the end closest to the drive. HTH!
