There is a perverse gun culture in the USA. A unhealthy obsession with guns, reeking in paranoia, disrespect and hand waving. It's looking like this kid was obsessed with guns. I wonder if his social media is filled with gun obsessed, paranoid, violent and hateful content. Will there be law enforcement just tasked with scanning social media for people with this type of content and creating watch lists?.

You have to be 21 to buy guns. And a non-felon. And not determined to be mentally incompetent. And show two forms of ID and pass a background check each and every time you buy a gun.

Of course, cigarettes are much cheaper AND you can buy them everywhere. But then you need to spend a LOT more money on them before you die. And they're addicting, so theres that.

Both come with warning labels that are usually ignored.

So the question is really, what should the answer be? And right now, at least, that's an impossible question to answer.

1: We need to lock the second amendment behind reasonable restrictions, in a way that will impact gun ownership nationwide.
2: We need to radically re-engineer the social decay that has been wrought from trickle down. Too many people are out there to backstab and cannibalize one another instead of treat each other like human beings deserve. Hell, look at how people drive on the roads. They'd kill you if they could just for being in their way, cause +10 over the limit isn't fast enough. We end the rat race, we end the stress and the killings that result from it.

This is a sick society loaded with semi-automatic weapons.
