Is it, always? Ah, good thing that the EPA has reduced its fines by 70%, then! Since man-made chemical waste has never been shown to induce cancer in individuals (because no one is doing anything about it!), then we can just rest more comfortably because King Trump has our back. That EPA is just wasting time and money, holding companies accountable for inducing not-cancer.

Everyone deals with things differently.

I can tell you that I know the fear quite well. I will be dealing with someone that has PTSD about shootings tonight. That said, jokes make me feel a lot better as they offer a temporary escape so I do not have everything hit all at once.

Easier than swords, harder than bombs, there isnt really any neutral equivalent. Maybe a crossbow that is magazine fed?

The people on the brink of self-harm or desperation definitely care about the media exposure afforded to people who decide to suicide by cop in a school or go out with a bang. Without that there is far less incentive to commit these acts.

I mean it's either that, or people finally realized after hundreds of years that guns can be used for mass shootings and not just killing yourself, or killing a single person in a domestic situation / heated argument.

Ok, so let's look at this. Tobacco kills something like 15x as many people as guns. Nothing at all is being done to further reduce that. You guys claim the conversation has been had on tobacco, and stop gaps put in place to reduce smoking. Good, it is still 15x more deadly than guns. If we're willing to live with that and leave it at that, then you can stay hands off my gun rights.
