Florida kids calling Trump out on his BS

Someone in the forum tried to insinuate those kids are being used. So Trump tweets out a deflection attack on the FBI and said they are spending too much time on Russia and that caused them to miss signals by shooter.

Seems these kids are smarter then most of the Trumptads. How is it they know when Trump is bullshitting them but his supporters don't?

On Saturday, Trump tweeted, "Very sad that the FBI missed all of the many signals sent out by the Florida school shooter. This is not acceptable. They are spending too much time trying to prove Russian collusion with the Trump campaign - there is no collusion. Get back to the basics and make us all proud!".

The President's tweet caused considerable outrage online, including among apparent survivors of the shooting:
"17 of my classmates are gone. That's 17 futures, 17 children, and 17 friends stolen. But you're right, it always has to be about you. How silly of me to forget. #neveragain"

Quite savvy those kids.

I bet Trumps handlers freak out every time he disappears with his phone hoping he doesn’t directly attack these students on twitter. You know he’s itching too.

Pretty accurate metaphor for the stuff Trump spews out daily

So gross and awesome at same time.

Perfectly incapsulates Mueller's investigation. It hasn't completely blown yet,... But we're getting closer.

Re OP:

Wish the kids well, but it's an uphill climb. Hope they f his bs up.

It's just a matter of time, as usual.

I'm no Trump lover, but I will vocally state that I think the whole investigation will yield results that are subpar to the filet that everyone is making it out to be.

Anyhow, Trump has a valid point.... Government is only as powerful as they are not incompetent.

For example, you can have... oh I don't know... a database of people that sohuldn't buy weapons. But that database is only as powerful as the people that are supposed to enter names into it (See Texas church shooter)... Just like an FBI is only as powerful as they are to act on tips from YouTube comments directly stating that you will shoot up a school.

My main point is that Government in general is incompetent. If you need proof of this see this shooting + the texas one. If you still feel competent in your government's ability to employ competent people, then I have a bridge to sell you, because you're fuckng retarded.

*for clarification, I am all for more regulations in regards to guns. I'm just telling you that if you expect competent government employees you're just not very bright

Government like corporations are made up of people. No more or no less competent and or corrupt. Its a reflection of the people they hire. Explains a lot about this White House.

Yes, but corporations are driven by profits. This means that the checks and balances of a manager (and subsequent senior manager on top of the manager) is more diligent about ensuring results instead of relying on one government employee.

They have no drive to ensure competency, and they have no reason for competency. That is the problem with government and non-profit in general... no one has an incentive to make sure that they did their job.

Maybe I'm just taking crazy pills here, but I hope you agree with that general notion. For reference, in my industry I have a direct manager watching over everything I do... then we have a Partner to the firm that watches over us both.... then we have a audit review team that watches over what we all do.

So if Trumps argument is that the FBI can't do two things at once surely they need much more funding!

The motivation for politicians is to appease their voters. Unfortunately, just like a profit motive can corrupt a corporation, so to can a political process that is corrupt (see gerrymandering).

It depends on who everyone is. The right seems to want to assert, like Trump, that the entire thing is solely about collusion. It isn’t and never was.

This started as an investigation to determine the breadth of the meddling that Russia exacted in the election. I’d say on that front it’s not far off from what it should have been. I don’t for a second believe we are at the end of this either.

So far you have a total of 18 people and 3 entities indicted, 4 guilty pleas and what looks like a while lot of new charges about to fall on Manafort. We also have the layout of a sophisticated strategy by Russia to influence the American people, rather successfully, through false media and organized demonstrations to sow divisions.

So yes, if you think this is only about collusion then, for now, it’s nothing. If you realize what it’s actually about then it’s been rather fruitful so far.

Is it me or is it crazy that the head of the Executive Branch is attacking one of his agencies on social media? What has government turned into?
