Flying from Trinidad to Tobago

Long story short, we'll need a flight in the early afternoon a few weeks from now to make it to a wedding on time. Options? TIA!

OK, the longer version is this: we couldn't find a flight that fit our schedule and budget that went straight to Tobago (believe me, we tried) so we've got a flight going ino Trinidad. I'd heard from numerous sources (including a guy *from* Trinidad at work) that there are frequent, inexpensive flights between T & T, but I've having the darndest time getting real info on it (including from the Trinidadian guy). So, we're in NYC now, but in 3.5 weeks will be heading to Trinidad, with, I hope, a plan to head to Tobago as soon as we get off the plane. The ferry, BTW, is not an option. Flying! that's what we need.

You couldn't find any info. on the net about renting a puddle-jumper? I had a couple of friends go to Med school in the islands and they had plenty of air-taxis available without any problems to get between the islands. I think they are like $25 one way and $50 round trip, and they have like 10-12 flights daily.

It's not possible to reserve with Tobago Express internationally. Well, you can try but they can only hold it for 24 hours and you have to pay in person, THERE, where I'm not. Might I also note, from the page you linked:

From Port of Spain, the ferry takes like 5-6 hours. Flying to Tobago takes about 30 minutes. I've done both.

Do you know anyone down there already that can book the flight for you?

okay, I just talked to my friend.

he said they are two airline that operate from Trinidad to Tobago - Caribean and BWIA.
they both fly every hour and takes roughly 30-45 minutes.

now, how you procure these flights is another story. My friend said he can contact a local person over there (calling a Tobago travel agent?) and have them secure you a ticket.

FYI, for anyone wondering, the Yes Tourism link above is where it's at. Some folks missed the wedding b/c they didn't have ATOT to help them get there on time but we made it without any trouble. Thanks ATOT!
