what's the over/under on trump selling out his own children, including in-laws?

If it will keep him out of jail/from being impeached I think there is absolutely no one he would not sell out.

I mean seriously can anyone think of Trump nobly going down for his family and not laugh at the thought?

Trump would turn on the man in the mirror if he could.

That's not even the worst part of it, sanctions were proposed and voted through both houses and then signed into law by Trump but they have not been enacted. In fact, trade in the areas those sanctions would have limited is up by over 50% in part by Trumps NAFTA dealings.

It seems that everything he does is done to give benefits to Russia in one way or another.
The only explanation, In the light of all the other Russian shit going on is that, Putin has him, there are tapes.

I'd say something equivalent to that, possibly something that is relevant to his father.

That was a rhetorical quesiton becasue I don't think anypne (maybe Mueller) knows the full answer. And by the definition ' levies war against them or adheres to their enemies, giving them aid ", one could make an argument that by their collusion they did in fact commit treason. One could argue Russia is our geopolitical enemy who attacked our country (hacking a candidate and trying to hack our elections) and by helping them do so, elect the person they wanted and dodge sanctions would be considered "adhering to them and giving them aid".

That never held water because technically we are not at war nor even military conflict.

That isn't required, an American interacting with a Russian spy to provide information would be guilty of treason, would he not?

The idea is that the act of espionage is in and of itself a hostile act.

Kushner! The guy in charge of everything now will be in charge of keeping himself out of jail! Let's see him try and negotiate world peace with inmates who want to make peace with his ass.

So I was out running errands and hate listening to talk radio to get their spin on Flynn. I found the spin interesting.

  • It’s possible that Flynn might have evidence of something on someone hire up in the organization and there’s not toooo many higher than Flynn and one could suppose it had something to do with maybe Russia and the emails.
  • OR Mueller is just rolling up Logan violations that Jared did during the transition time frame. Which is totally something that happens that’s not good but politically happens all the time. Not something that’s impeachable or going to get Trump in trouble.
So seems like the spin might be to throw Jared under the bus.

Somehow people seem to have missed that part. Apparently pointing that out means you support Trump as well.

OH COME ON!!! You missed two posts, one of which you quoted but did not read, and have yet to apologize for being an idiot on the matter. Until you do that you have NO room to speak about what others have or have not missed you utter twit.

Cobb: Flynn only worked at the White House for 25 days, but he worked for Obama a lot longer than that.

Yeah sure, and Flynn's job was to bring Trump coffee. He barely knew the guy. He swears.

Read this. It explains plainly misunderstandings of treason. This scenario is one of the examples.

Espionage is it's own crime for this very reason.

You know what... I'm going to fall back on my previous statement. There is literally no way to be a traitor in the US no matter what these days.

These rules make no sense what so ever to me, in the UK providing information to a spy would not make you guilty of espionage, it would make the spy guilty of espionage and YOU guilty of treason.

No, that would be a violation of several federal laws, the Espionage Act among them, but it doesn't satisfy the definition of treason in the U.S. Constitution, which BTW, was virtually copied from a British statute of the 14th century. It only applies where the country being aided by the accused is in a state of open war with the U.S.
