Fm modulator /bt adapter that works with iPhone

Does anyone here use one of these things? I want to be able to listen to pandora in my work truck (fleet vehicle with no inputs) I just need this thing to play music to an fm station. I have read bad reviews on almost every model I look at online.

Not even a tape deck?? Wow. The problem with FM transmitters is interference from the much larger, more powerful radio station antennae.

I had a monster FM modulator that I got for dirt cheap on Woot, and eventually paired it with a 30-pin bluetooth reciever that I used up until this summer.

They do work, but it was a massive PITA constantly hunting for the best frequency to broadcast on and it always sounded terrible.

But, they do work. That flexsmart looks nice and it looks like it's easy to change the radio frequency on. I just wouldn't spend too much on it because you're not going to find much of a difference between a $30 setup and a $100 setup, IMO.

You can find it pretty easily there are a million sellers. It only costs $3 and works fine. I dont use mine much anymore because my new car has a usb port.

I've used a bunch of different FM transmitters and they all sucked. However, I live in Toronto, and the airwaves are crowded here.

Now I just use earbuds. Earbuds because they don't drown out environmental and traffic sounds if I have the volume set correctly. As an added bonus it gives me handsfree, without my having to deal with finicky Bluetooth devices.

Have you considered something like a beats pill and then powering it off a dc adapter?

Wouldn't get sound through the speakers but it may actually get you better sound than an fm modulator.

Yea, if you get something like that you can also use it as a BT mic for calls.

The problem was with where I live - hardly any vacant stations on the dial (with lots of drift). The device itself worked very well. At the end of the day I was much happier when I just swapped my deck out

I just bought the flex smart 3 and it works really well. No static at all, easy setup. Auto reconnects ect... Love it do death.
