used to do folding for hothardware.com as i was pretty active on there. i find AT is lot more active and ultimately more helpful when it coemes to solving problems and informing its users on new things.
That being said, ive decided to dedicate my pc's to folding for TeAm Anandtech (198 ).
currently have 3 of my c omputers running the console client.
My main computer:
E8400 @ 3.9GHz
2gb of ram
yadi yadi yada
Old desktop:
Celeron 1.1GHZ S370
256mb ram
Old Lappy:
300MHz cpu
128mb ram
Obviously nothing groundbreaking but just got these computers from a friend and wanted to put them to work until they crapped out. just got a new motherboard for the desktop and new ram and NIC for it also so its all good and currently folding as we speak. as the lappy and my main computer which is running 2 clients to maximize utilization.
Figured id let go of boinc and stick with the original, F@H
