But it seems to me that more and more kids these days have peanut allergies, i wonder if it has a direct correlation to a lot more kids these days are fatties?

I get totally whacked out whenever I eat Chinese food. Don't know if it's allergic or intolerant reaction, but oh boy! I feel like I am stoned out of my freaking mind. Dry eyes, dry throat, drowsy as hell, hearing all muffled and jumbled. It gets bad enough that I cannot drive whenever I eat out with the family. I endure it usually by ordering take-out instead. I love Chinese food and suffer the consequences accordingly.
Peace

many of them may be caused by the mother smoking while pregnant. there are many out there who believe that drinking milk after you no longer need your mother's milk causes many food allergies, too. personally, i have no real opinion on it. i certainly wouldn't tell anyone NOT to drink milk because they MIGHT develop a series of food allergies. it'd be like telling someone NOT to vaccinate their child because they MIGHT develop autism or NOT to drive a car because it MIGHT crash.

Actually there is a lot of data showing that it is because of lacking routine exposure to pathogens as a kid. Same with Asthma and other hypersensitivities. Lesson for the day, let your kids play in the mud.

That is really stupid. My son was diagnosed with those allergies when he was less than 1 yr old. Actually milk allergy was diagnosed when he as 2 weeks old.
